The location was quite convenient.

I was given a clipboard at check-in. It displayed breakfast times, I picked 10 AM. The next morning, I arrived at 9:50 only to be told breakfast ended at 10:15. I learned of the restricted timings upon arrival. A staff member spoke to me rudely saying it was different during the weekend versus weekdays.

The room had the original curved red brick ceiling. I saw a metal column with a view toward the big wheel and the arena from my room. The location is handy for all the docks attractions as they are minutes away. The value for money is good and it included a decent buffet style breakfast.

The bedroom lighting was poor. There was no overhead lighting in the bedroom, just small spot lamps by the bed.

The radiator in my room rattled all night. It was unbelievably loud. it sounded like metal chains were constantly banging. the breakfast area felt cramped, so getting food became a bit of a slow process. this was frustrating as i was on a tight schedule. I needed a quick start to the day.

i noticed the bedroom lighting was inadequate, with only small lamps by the bed and desk. this made unpacking and organizing belongings a bit challenging, requiring the use of phone torches to see clearly.
